Hi. I’m Sadie.
I’m two years old, a 60-pound Boxer mix, and I’m officially ready to find my family.
First things first, yes, I’m housebroken. I’ve got that whole “living in a home” thing down. I sleep like a champ through the night in my crate and wake up ready to start the day with you.
Lately, I’ve been discovering just how fun life can be. Chasing balls? Enjoying but still figuring out the bringing it back part. Chewing on a good bone? Top tier hobby. Dissecting a plushy toy? Absolutely my passion project. I enjoyed neighborhood strolls with my foster family and am not reactive on leash to other dogs but I don’t really like to share my home with them, so it’s best if you keep me all to yourself.
I ride well in the car too! I’m happy and curious but still figuring out all the simple joys that make a dog happy. People are my favorite. If I’m being honest, I’m a “let me lean my whole body into you while you pet me” kind of girl. I love to press up close, soak in the pets, and remind you that you are my person. I’ve perfected the art of the gentle lean and twist my body like a curly fry for that perfect butt rub.
And can we talk about my beauty for a second? I’ve got this natural eyeliner situation going on that makes my amber eyes really pop. Add in my velvety soft coat (think, velour track suit soft), that’s easy to care for, and my long legs and I’m basically a low-maintenance runway model.
What I’m looking for is pretty simple: a home where I can play, cuddle, sleep soundly, and keep learning how wonderful life can be. If you’ve got a couch or dog bed with a little extra room and a heart ready for a loyal shadow, I think we might be perfect for each other.
Love, Sadie
