October 29-30th- Trick or Treat Under the Sea

The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores offers a bewitching evening of sweets and treats with the annual Trick or Treat Under the Sea, aka TOTUS, on the evenings of Wednesday, Oct. 29 and Thursday, October 30. Tickets will be available at the door from 4:30-7:30 PM each night. $11 per person; $9.90 for members; ages 2 and under are free. More info click here.

November 1st- Craft Show and Fall Bazaar

There will be a Craft Show and Fall Bazaar to benefit Cheryl Fulcher Lewis who is currently undergoing breast cancer treatment. Event will be held from 9 AM to 3 PM at the Bridge Community Building in Harkers Island. For more info, click here

November 5th- Health Fair and Conference

There will be a Health Fair at the East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU from 8:30 AM- 3:30PM. The fair is aimed to educate, motivate, and inspire individuals living with diabetes. There will be guest speakers present in the morning - Dr Tanenberg, RN and A1C champion - and health screenings available in the afternoon (kidney, foot and eye), healthy snack demos, vendor displays, and goodie bags. November 6th- Veteran's Job Fair

Open exclusively to Veterans and active duty military from 9-10AM; and open to all job seekers from 10AM-2PM at the Morehead City Train Depot.

November 8th- Rhapsody in Bluegrass

The award-winning, Juilliard-trained, Annie Moses Band of PBS fame will perform at the Turnage Theatre in Washington, N.C. Hosted by the non-profit Beaufort County Arts Council, the concert will showcase the ensemble's originally written and arranged "Rhapsody in Bluegrass: The Art of American Music" tour. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 and available online at www.anniemosesband.com or by calling 252-946-2504.

 November 22nd- Cancer Awareness Turkey Trot

Sign up for the Liam Coastal Turkey Trot to raise cancer awareness! Portion of proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. Enjoy a brisk 5k in downtown New Bern. Click here for details!

December 6th- WinterFest

Free Admission and Parking! December 6, 2014 from 2-8PM at Riverwalk Park, 421 Court Street in downtown Jacksonville. Winterfest is a celebration of the season. This festive event has children’s games, ice sculptures, holiday entertainment, food, pony, hay and train rides. Children an have their picture taken with Santa and visit Santa's Workshop. Highlights include sledding with real snow, the annual tree lighting and spectacular Flotilla on the New River.

December 13th- Morehead City Annual Christmas Parade

Parade begins at 11AM in the 1700 block of Arendell St. and ends at 8th Street.

December 14th- Craven Smart Start's Holiday Hustle 5k

Craven Smart Start will be hosting the "Holiday Hustle." The hustle will offer several run options including the Jingle Bell Jog 5k, Tinsel 10k and the 1 Mile Santa's Family Fun Run. This event will begin at Union Point Park at 8:00am. Join us in "Giving Kids a Running Start!" Registration is $25 per person.
