ADAM LEVINE recently criticized derivative pop music, and Tweeted, quote, "recycling old art doesn't make you an artist.  It makes you an art teacher."  LADY GAGA apparently thought he was talking about her, because she later Tweeted, quote, "Uh oh guys, the art police is here." 


BRITNEY SPEARS has sold out three of the first 16 shows of her upcoming Las Vegas residency, but some people are considering this a "disaster," because she was expected to do better. 


This Week's CDs Include New Music from Drake, Sammy Hagar, Cher, Elton John, Kings of Leon, and the Cast of "Glee"


"Glee Sings the Beatles", the cast of "Glee" performs 14 Beatles songs from their two-part season premiere.  The first of those episodes airs this Thursday.  You can preview all of the tracks on iTunes(They won't deal with Cory Monteith's death until the third episode, on October 10th.)


"Nothing Was the Same", Drake.  His third disc features appearances from Jay Z and Lil Wayne, plus Drake's father, Dennis Graham.  It also has two versions for the album cover:  One shows a side profile of Drake as a child, and the other shows him as a man.


"The Last Ship", the eleventh album from Sting features music inspired from his upcoming Broadway play, which is supposed to hit the stage sometime next year.


"Sons of the Sea", the self-titled debut from Sons of the Sea . . . the latest project from Incubus singer Brandon Boyd.  Check out the songs "Lady Black", "Space and Time", and "Come Together"on their YouTube channel.


"Unblackened", Black Label Society.  A double-CD with live performances and six studio tracks, including Zakk Wylde's version of the R&B classic "Ain't No Sunshine".


"Dream Theater", the self-titled 12th album from Dream Theater.  If you'd like a preview, it's streaming right now on RollingStone.com.


"Shout!", a double album from Gov't Mule with the other disc featuring a second version of each song with other artists as their guests, including Ben Harper, Elvis Costello, Glenn Hughes, Dave Matthews, Steve Winwood, and Dr. John.
